How I became A Furry

I was bored, eatin chips watchin the animal planet. Well, the TV show Weird True and Freaky was on. So I started to watched this episode cause nothing was on anywhere else. For those that don't know, Weird True and Freaky, commonly abbreviated WTF (no relation), shows "7 of the most" weird true and freaky stories and or exhibits featuring something to do with animals.



This specific episode, title Humanimals (Click Here For EP segment), showed seven weird true freaky transitions of humans to some animal form. For instance some just want to look animal cosmetically, while some really think spiritualy they are animals. Well, between segment 2 and 3, segment 3 being "Coyote Oswald" a Were Coyote, they gave a question just before cutting to break.

The Correct answer is C. Calling themselves the Furry Fandom, Thousands Gather at Furry Conventions across the globe every year.

I had expcted it to be the other 2.

Then Segment 2, was devoated entirely to Furries. Well, WTF was off on their defintion of a Furry, the Stereotype being all own Fursuits and all think they are animals In real life. But when i watched this, late january 2009, I had to google it. Less then a week later I knew pretty much everything there was to know about us. I still learn new things on ocaision. But I was a freak for that shit in Febuary.

Being a furry is not something I am passive about. I am into this stuff, deeper than I ever thought I could be. For instance, I can name 40-50 awesome fursuiters off the top of my head now. But this stuff conflicts with who I am tho, in a sad way. For instance I am a Juggalo as well, if you don't know ask, well they aren't like this at all. Most of their lifestyles involve violence, kicking in teeth, and plane good old fashioned mayhem. In their music. Not this Fruity stuff. But I grew beyond that once I discovered there are even furry juggalos roaming the web. Way more than I coulda imagined.

Plus, the rest of the school year, I was really slacking off trying to get better at drawing this anthro stuff. Well, Homework assignments immedeatley became late, grades fell, but I managed to change Fs and Ds to Cs and Bs. IDK how, but I did.

But yeah, this fursuiting stuff is so me, I want one, and will stop at nothing till I get one.
